Malacañang Palace declared November 29, 2010 as a non-working holiday in observance of Bonifacio Day. The announcement was made by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte.
Bonifacio Day falls on November 30, however, in lieu Procalamation 1841, July 21, 2009, celebration moves to the nearest Monday.
Bonifacio Day is commemorated for Philippine National Hero Andres Bonifacio, the founder of Katipunan, birthdate.
