A month ago, I enrolled to paypal.com for my online transactions. I don't have an EON UnionBank Account or credit card to verify my Paypal account. Out of curiosity, I tried using my Smart Money Card and voila, my account is now verified.

You can get your Smart Money Card through Smart Wireless Center for a certain fee. Activate your card as instructed by the customer service. REMEMBER your WPIN. Reload your card at least P200.00 via Smart Wireless Center or BDO using their payment slip. Smart number is required with at least P15.00 balance.

You're now set.

1. On your Phone

a. to Smart Menu

b. choose Smart Money

c. Select Intenet Txns

d. Choose Unlock

e. Select the name of the card you want to unlock

f. You will received a prompt Message, press OK.

g. Enter you W-PIN. A notification will be received.

2. Log in to paypal.com

a. Click GET VERIFY

b. Fill-up the information needed using your Smart Money including your first name, card type, choose Mastercard, card number, expiry date, and security code (3-digit code found at the back of your card) then save.

c. Wait for Paypal confirmation via text message containing the four-digit code (EXPUSE), it is needed to complete the verification process.

d. Perform step 1 again,if needed. You should received a confirmation message that your Paypal account is now verified.

Please be noted that Paypal will charged your Smart Money Account during or after the process. Don't worry it will be credited to your Paypal.

Congrats! Your Paypal account is now verified.
